Periodontal disease can range from early stages to advanced periodontitis, depending on the case.
The most important thing is to carry out a thorough examination and a thorough periodontal examination.
The main objective is the disinfection and deinflammation of the entire oral cavity. by scaling and root planing (RAR) or in more advanced cases we would have to opt for a corrective phase.
To help stabilise the disease, periodontal maintenance is necessary as the pockets become recolonised by these pathogenic bacteria.
This is taking into account that each case has to be analysed individually.
